Lance Corporal Ryan Winslow Scholarship

The Lance Corporal Ryan Winslow Scholarship was established by the Howlin’ Mad Smith Detachment of the Marine Corps League in memory of Lance Corporal Ryan Winslow, a Marine who was killed in action on April 15, 2006.

The Lance Corporal Ryan Winslow Scholarship is open to current and former members of the U.S. Marines Corps. Students who meet one or more of the following criteria are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • Are engaged in public service
  • Served in the War on Terror
  • Are interested in a career in law enforcement
  • Are majoring in a field that supports a career in law enforcement, including but not limited to; criminal justice, digital forensics, computer science, chemistry, or a pre-law program
